The present invention provides a system for automatically checking the material quantity of a low impact development (LID) facility using building information modeling (BIM), capable of providing an integrated management basis for the LID facility based on the BIM, and an automatic checking method using the same. According to the present invention, the system comprises: a data storage unit; a data extraction unit extracting 3D and 2D LID facility data corresponding to LID facility data to be analyzed from 3D and 2D data stored in the data storage unit; a data reconfiguration unit reconfiguring the extracted 3D LID facility data in synchronization with a format of the 2D LID facility data; and a comparison and checking unit determining whether a data error occurs based on the reconfigured 3D LID facility data and the 2D LID facility data and marking the error.
