The present invention relates to a method for composing a renewable energy source portfolio to achieve RPS obligation and a system thereof. According to the present invention, coefficients of the objective function are calculated by applying a plurality of constraints to the linear programming so the maximum profit can be made while having the least expenses for achieving RPS obligation by generators.
