The present invention relates to a method for automatically generating a three-dimensional design drawing using a two-dimensional design drawing and an apparatus for automatically generating a three-dimensional design drawing using the same. The method of the present invention comprises the steps of: receiving and storing two-dimensional design drawing information on a building by a memory module; generating, by a drawing analysis module, member drawing information including member list information on a member of the building and drawing structure information on a drawing structure with reference to the two-dimensional design drawing information; generating, by a steel bar analysis module, steel bar supply information for a steel bar required for the building with reference to the two-dimensional design drawing information; and generating, by a three-dimensional design module, three-dimensional design drawing information for the two-dimensional design drawing information with reference to the member drawing information and the steel bar supply information.
