The present invention relates to an apparatus for measuring an optical environment of a plant factory and a measuring method thereof and, more specifically, to an apparatus for measuring an optical environment of a plant factory which measures an optical environment of a plant factory by a sensor and transmits the measured optical environment to an external control device so that the optical environment inside the plant factory can be properly adjusted and to a measuring method thereof. The apparatus for measuring an optical environment of a plant factory comprises: a photosensor (13) composed of a plurality of channels; a transmission unit (14) transmitting light detected from the photosensor (13); a control unit (11) processing data transmitted from the transmission unit (14); and a setting unit (12) determining a detection condition of the photosensor (13) under the control of the control unit (11). The control unit (11) displays, on a display unit, a profile of the photon density transmitted from the photosensor (13) at predetermined intervals.
