The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a large basalt block without defects such as cracks, a basalt block manufactured thereby, and an aging chamber using the same. The method of the present invention comprises the steps of: preparing a basalt gemstone having a size of 0.1 to 5cm; removing impurities present on a surface by washing the basalt gemstone with water; drying the washed basalt gemstone at 100 to 150°C; pulverizing the dried basalt gemstone; preparing basalt powder by selecting a pulverized material using a sieve; melting the basalt powder at 2,000 to 2,500°C; cooling a basalt molten material to manufacture a basalt solid; and processing the basalt solid to manufacture a basalt block. Accordingly, the basalt block having excellent far-infrared radiation and antibacterial characteristics is provided.
