The present invention relates to a system for monitoring a main control room of a nuclear power plant and, more specifically, to a system for monitoring a main control room of a nuclear power plant, which can monitor a work situation of a worker and environmental information around the worker in the main control room in real time while tracking and photographing the worker moving in a nuclear power plant. To solve the problem, according to the present invention, the system for monitoring a main control room of a nuclear power plant comprises: a plurality of camera devices installed in the nuclear power plant and outputting camera output information; a monitoring device receiving the camera output information transmitted from the camera device, calculating the photographing direction and magnification of the camera device according to the received camera output information, and controlling the photographing of the camera device; and an image display device installed in the main control room and displaying image information outputted from the monitoring device. The camera device includes: a camera unit photographing a predetermined area; a pan, tilt, and zooming (PTZ) unit controlling the photographing direction and photographing magnification of the camera unit; a radar sensor unit transmitting a wireless signal and receiving a wireless signal reflected by the worker; and a temperature sensor unit transmitting a temperature sensor driving signal and receiving a reflected wave to detect the temperature. The camera output information includes image information photographed by the camera unit, distance information detected by the radar sensor unit, and temperature information detected by the temperature sensor unit.
