BIM/GIS METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PROVIDING BIM/GIS INTEGRATED INFORMATION AND SYSTEM USING THE SAME

Provided is a method for providing building information modeling/geographic information system (BIM/GIS) integrated information. The method for providing BIM/GIS integrated information comprises the following steps of: loading a geography markup language (GML) file of the GIS from a geographic location of an object when a user selects the object on a three-dimensional map; determining an industry foundation classes (IFC) file mapped to the GML file based on coordinate information of the object acquired from the GML file; and outputting a BIM model of the object based on the determined IFC file.
