The present invention relates to an apparatus for removing a residual processing oil from rectangular steel pipes and a method for removing a residual processing oil from rectangular steel pipes using the same, which make the rectangular steel pipes rotate at a predetermined angle, specifically 45 degrees, and collect the residual processing oil within the rectangular steel pipes at lower side corners of the rectangular steel pipes at the same time while lifting one end portion of a lot, made of a bundle of the rectangular steel pipes moving along skids to be capable of efficiently discharging the residual processing oil in a short time, thereby being capable of effectively and efficiently removing the residual processing oil while being capable of performing rapid treatment by automation and not having a negative impact on overall productivity of a continuous pipe making process, and being capable of more completely removing the residual processing oil to prevent a quality problem of the steel pipes caused by the residual processing oil remaining in the steel pipes during the pipe making process.
