SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR COUNTING BILLIARD SCORE USING IMAGE PROCESSING

Disclosed are a system and a method for counting a billiard score using image processing. The system for counting a billiard score using image processing includes: a camera module generating a first photographed image in which a billiard table and a billiard ball are photographed by being installed in the upper part of the billiard table; a digital scoreboard; and a server. The digital scoreboard includes: a fingerprint recognizing unit authorizing player information by recognizing fingerprints of a player; a communication unit receiving handy score information corresponding to the player information from a server and receiving the first photographed image photographed by the camera module; a display unit outputting the player information, the handy score information, and game score information in case of authorizing the player information; an image processing unit correcting a distorted image in the first photographed image and generating a second photographed image which has been corrected; and a score counting unit automatically determining gains and losses by analyzing the second photographed image corresponding to the player information, wherein the score counting unit generates the game score information by reflecting the determined gains and losses. The server includes: a game information receiving unit receiving the game score information and the player information; a history managing unit managing history information corresponding to the game score information and the player information; and a handy calculating unit generating the handy score information using the history information.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2019
