There is provided a geostationary orbiting satellite image geometry correction apparatus for performing image navigation and registration on image data of a geostationary orbit observation satellite. The apparatus includes: a landmark determination unit that obtains landmark information associated with a first image; and an attitude error, an orbit error, and a payload alignment error for the first image based on the landmark information and a navigation filter unit for calculating a state vector for correcting at least one of misalignment.
