The wire rope with a resin wire is provided with the wire rope main body which twisted several strands together, and at least 1 resin wire wound spirally on a wire rope main body along the recessed part between strands. A strand groove into which a strand can be fitted and a resin wire groove into which a resin wire can be fitted are spirally formed in the winding hole of the resin wire winding frame which winds the resin wire around the wire rope body. Thereby, a resin wire can be attached to a wire rope main body simply and reliably, and a wire rope with a resin wire can be manufactured.
