METHOD OF AUDIT PROSTHETIC REPAIR OF KNEE JOINT AT A DEFECT OF TIBIA

FIELD: medicine.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine. Method of audit prosthetic repair of a knee joint at a defect of tibia involves an intraoperative serial manufacturing of an articulating surface of a tibital component from a bone cement with an antibiotic. First, based on computed tomography data and obtained volumetric parameters of tibia defect, a spacer model is made, on one end coinciding with the relief of the proximal tibial and medullary canal, from the other end having two recesses in the form of elongated grooves mirroring the femoral component of the endoprosthesis, height corresponding to available defect. On the basis of the spacer model, a mold is made with a hole in the body consisting of two parts. That is followed by the intraoperative collection of the mold, the bone cement with an antibiotic is poured through the hole in the body, after hardening of cement, the mold is separated to get an anatomically matching spacer of tibial defect. Spacer is fixed on defect of tibia on bone cement with antibiotic.EFFECT: invention provides creation of adequate articulation in joint area with deficiency of bone structures of proximal tibia, as well as reduced frequency of recurrent inflammatory process.1 cl
