In the method, the estimation of the likelihood of a brain concussion is carried out by identifying BNA-related data features, such as an EEG or MEG, to construct a subject-specific BNA pattern with plurality of nodes, each node is an element of BNA-related features, and each pair of nodes is assigned a connectivity weight. Then, the BNA pattern similarity, describing the results of comparing the constructed BNA pattern and the basic BNA pattern, which are specific to the object, is calculated. And the probability of a brain concussion is determined based on the identified similarities with the BNA pattern.
