FIELD: test equipment.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to test equipment and can be used to investigate effect of frost heaving of soil on a grounding electrode. Proposed device for investigating effect of frost heaving of soil on grounding electrode comprises hollow housing. Strain gauges, temperature and humidity sensors are located inside the housing. Outside the housing is covered with heat insulation, in the lower part between the housing and heat insulation there is a cooling element. Heating and cooling elements are installed above the housing. Outputs of strain gauges, temperature and humidity sensors are connected to inputs of electronic computer.;EFFECT: possibility of investigating mechanical forces acting on a grounding electrode in heaving and permafrost soils during autumn-winter and spring-summer periods.;1 cl, 1 dwg
