FIELD: biotechnology.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of biotechnology. Invention represents a C/2014 strain of the Machupo virus - agent of Bolivian haemorrhagic fever (BGL), a version of the Carvallo natural strain adapted to guinea pigs and causing death related to the introduced dose of the virus.;EFFECT: invention enables to determine and calculate values of LD₅₀ for the BGL agent expressed in the PFU (plaque-forming unit), in experiments on model laboratory animals - guinea pigs; calculate the infectious doses expressed in LD₅₀, for guinea pigs when laboratory animals are infected in MCS experimental studies; obtaining statistically reliable information on the effectiveness of the developed MRMs with respect to the BGL agent.;1 cl, 5 tbl, 3 ex
