FIELD: medicine.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, specifically to vascular surgery. Before the operation, the arterial blood pressure is measured if the systolic pressure exceeds the target value by 40 mm Hg and more, the first stage of the patient is carotid endarterectomy with removal of the glomus. If the difference with the target systolic pressure is reduced to 20 mm Hg and less postoperative period from second side carotid endarterectomy is performed with preservation of glomus. If the postoperative systolic pressure difference is 25 mm Hg and more, on the second side, carotid endarterectomy with removal of the glomus is also performed. If the systolic pressure before the first operation exceeds the target value by less than 40 mm Hg, the first stage involves carotid endarterectomy with preservation of the glomus. If the postoperative difference decreases the systolic pressure values with the target value of up to 30 mm Hg and more second stage, carotid endarterectomy is performed with removal of the glomus.
