A molding method simulator (1) comprising: a storage unit (70); and a processor adapted to generate an analysis model (200) of a molded product having an insert (201) disposed within a cavity (202) and fixed to a mold (203), and for establishing a plurality of nodes in the analysis model (200), and storing the coordinates of each node in the memory unit (70); reading the coordinates of the plurality of nodes from the memory unit (70) and establishing a predetermined constraint condition for a node (205) of the plurality node locations positioned on an interface between the mold (203) and the insert (201); performing a fluid analysis based on the analysis model (200) and calculating a pressure distribution and a temperature distribution within the cavity (202); and for obtaining an amount of deformation of the insert (201) based on the pressure distribution and the temperature distribution and the restriction condition established for the node (205) positioned on the interface.
