To provide an athletic ability and/or muscle formation enhancing composition containing dipsacus japonicus root and cynanchum wilfordii extracts as active ingredients.SOLUTION: An athletic ability enhancing food composition contains a dipsacus japonicus root extract and a cynanchum wilfordii extract as active ingredients. In the food composition, the dipsacus japonicus root extract and the cynanchum wilfordii extract are extracted by one solvent selected from a group consisting of water or 1-6C alcohol, and a mixed solvent thereof.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
