To improve a workflow, and to improve a throughput.SOLUTION: An X-ray CT apparatus in an embodiment includes an X-ray tube, a detector, an acquisition part and a determination part. The X-ray tube irradiates an X-ray. The detector detects an X-ray irradiated from the X-ray tube, and transmitted through a subject. The acquisition part acquires a breath holding time of the subject and a photography condition. The determination part determines an imaging mode on control of breath holding and breathing during imaging, based on the breath holding time and the photography condition.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
