To actualize automatic meter reading in which accurate meter reading values are efficiently collected.SOLUTION: A meter reading value collection device comprises: a provisional value setting part 11a which calculates differences (Δ, Δ, Δ) between metered values between successive collection time limits in an acquired data set Dg, and sets each metered value of the data set Dg that a data acquisition part 15 acquires as a provisional value Dtof a corresponding collection time limit (t) when the calculated differences are all within a range of thresholds, or replaces it with an ineffective value when the differences are not within the range of thresholds; and a metered value determination part 11b which determines a metered value which is three collection time limits before based upon the provisional value Dtof the collection time limit (t), and a detection result of ineffective values in a provisional value group Vgtconsisting of four provisional values extracted from provisional values of past three collection time limits succeeding the collection time limit and corresponding to metered values metered three collection time limits before the collection time limit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
