PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To evaluate thermoelectric characteristics in the same measurement direction (heat flow direction) using the same evaluation sample, and to evaluate thermoelectric characteristics with a simple structure and high accuracy in a short time. A unit, a thermoelectric characterization device, and a thermoelectric characterization method are provided. SOLUTION: An evaluation sample M is placed on a sample holder 30 provided with a heater 32, and four measuring probes 10 are brought into contact with the evaluation sample M at an appropriate pressure using a contact pressure adjusting member 60. Using the thermoelectric property evaluation device 2, the thermoelectric properties of the same evaluation sample in the same measurement direction (heat flow direction), the electric resistivity, the Seebeck coefficient, and the thermoelectric diffusion rate are evaluated with high accuracy in a short time.
