To provide an abnormality determination device for a transport refrigeration apparatus, a transport refrigeration apparatus provided with this abnormality determination device, and an abnormality determination method for the transportation refrigeration apparatus, in which accurate determination of abnormality in the transport refrigeration apparatus may be realized.SOLUTION: An abnormality determination device 60 comprising a determination unit 67 for determining an abnormality of a transportation refrigeration apparatus attached to a container acquires, upon pre-use test before installation of a transportation refrigeration apparatus on transportation equipment where a test operation for at least one test operation mode is carried out, at least a part of a time series test data related to the same test operation mode among a plurality of test operation modes. A determination unit 67 determines the presence or absence of an abnormality in the transportation refrigeration apparatus from the change tendency in the time-series test data related to the same test operation mode among the plurality of test operation modes during the multiple pre-use tests.
