PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively improve poor print quality due to coalescence of particles which occurs when orbits between particles are close to each other, scattering by particle collision, Coulomb repulsion between particles and so on, and to enable high quality printing.;SOLUTION: An ink jet recording device has an optimal control searching part which adopts ink particle input order of test characters and a charge voltage of ink particle as control data and performs test printing, searches control data for improving printing quality on the basis of image data concerning print characters, and supplies optimal control data to a print control part. This optimal control searching part quantitatively evaluates deviation between each dot position of image data and each ideal dot position by an optimization algorithm, corrects control data by use of this evaluation result, performs new test printing and quantitative evaluation by the corrected control data multiple times, and calculates optimal control data.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1;COPYRIGHT: (C)2020,JPO&INPIT
