PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suitable X-ray mammography and/or chest tomosynthesis using a compression paddle. An X-ray chest imaging system including a compression paddle, the compression paddle including a front wall and a bottom wall. The anterior wall is configured to abut and face the patient's chest wall during imaging and the bottom wall is configured to abut the upper length of the compressed chest.
