To enable agreement adjustment between a direction of a water gun around a horizontal circumference and a detection angle of a fire detection unit by enabling accurate visual recognition of a direction of a discharge center line of the water gun to a protection section.SOLUTION: A water gun apparatus 10 comprises: a fire detection unit 34 for performing a two-dimensional scan on a protection section to detect fire; and a water gun 30 that supports a water gun having a discharge direction fixed at a predetermined upward angle so as to be rotatable around a horizontal circumference. A control unit rotates and drives the water gun so that the water gun is directed to a fire detection direction detected by the fire detection unit and makes the water gun discharge water. In the water gun apparatus 10 is provided a beam scan apparatus 48 for irradiating the protection section with laser beam light that agrees with a discharge center line of the water gun in a horizontal direction and performs a rotational scan or swinging scan in the vertical direction. In a predetermined operation state, the beam scan apparatus 48 is driven to project the beam light 72 on the protection section to make a bright line 122 corresponding to a projection image of the discharge center line be displayed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
