PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a center device that appropriately selects an electronic control unit to be updated and efficiently generates specifications data for updating.;SOLUTION: The ECU repro-data database 204 of a center device 3 stores the data of an update program for an ECU among the ECUs mounted in a vehicle the program of which is to be updated. A configuration information database 208 stores vehicle-related information, such as ID for each ECU and the SW ID, etc., of the program stored in the ECU, together with the type of vehicle. An ECU metadata database 205 stores update data-related information associated with the attribute and update data of the ECU to be rewritten. A specifications data generation unit 201 generates specifications data transmitted to the vehicle together with the update data written into the target ECU, on the basis of information stored in the configuration information database 208 and ECU metadata database 205, so as to include information that indicates a rewrite environment relating to the type, attribute, update data-related information and data updates regarding the target ECU.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8;COPYRIGHT: (C)2020,JPO&INPIT
