To provide a hole processing machine which can form an oval hole with high accuracy and can also perform complicated hole processing of an inner diameter change hole or the like with high accuracy, and a method for processing an oval hole and an inner diameter change hole using the hole processing machine.SOLUTION: A hole processing machine 100 comprises a main spindle 101 and an auxiliary main spindle 120 which hold both end parts of a processing tool 102 having a cutting blade 103. The main spindle 101 comprises a main spindle drive motor 106 which rotationally displaces the processing tool 102 on a circular orbit, and a tool rotating motor 105 which rotates the processing tool 102. The auxiliary main spindle 120 comprises an auxiliary main spindle drive motor 120b by which a tool fitting part 120a, to which a tip of the processing tool 102 is slidably fitted, is synchronously rotationally driven on the same circular orbit as that of the main spindle 101. A table reciprocative displacement mechanism 111 which reciprocatingly displaces a work-piece WK in an X-axis direction orthogonal to an axial direction of the main spindle 101, is provided between the main spindle 101 and the auxiliary main spindle 120.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
