To provide a fall prevention device of a hanging article in which it is hard to apply a compressive force to a hanging tool such as hanging bolts even if large swing occurs because of earthquakes or the like, and it can be mounted in the hanging bolt itself and the mounting to the ceiling is unnecessary, and provide a fall prevention structure and a fall prevention method.SOLUTION: A fall prevention device is configured so that a string-like member such as metal wire for fall prevention may be mounted to the hanging tool itself such as a hanging bolt. A first mounting member for string-like member is mounted in the vicinity of a hanging root in the upper side of the hanging tool, and is fixed in a fixing member so as to be fixed directly or through an interposer to a structure of ceilings, etc. In the hanging tool, a second mounting member is mounted in the lower side from the place where a hanging article is supported, and the string-like member is mounted and fixed to this and the first mounting member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
