PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyvinyl alcohol film package capable of suppressing deformation and optical performance degradation even during storage or transportation.SOLUTION: A package 1 is obtained by winding a core tube 2 having an axis length longer than a film width with a belt-like polyvinyl alcohol film to make a film roll 3, and packing the film roll 3 with a water vapor barrier film 4. In the package 1, an end part on a side in the axial direction of the core tube 2 on the water vapor barrier film 4 is folded inside the core tube 2 protruded from the film roll 3; thereby, the water vapor barrier film 4 is wound so as to cover the end part of the core tube 2; and a water absorption material 6 is arranged inside the core tube 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
