PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an aerogel complex having excellent heat insulation performance and flexibility.SOLUTION: A method for producing an aerogel complex includes the step for drying wet gel prepared from sol that contains a silica particle dispersion that contains silica particles dispersed therein and has zeta potential of -50 to 40 mV, and at least one selected from the group consisting of a silicon compound having a hydrolyzable functional group in the molecule and a hydrolysis product of the silicon compound.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
