To provide a risk quantification device for injury during running exercise for easily and effectively quantifying a risk of injury that occurs during the running exercise by using a portable device easily worn by an ordinary person for the running exercise.SOLUTION: An IVLR prediction method includes: a data collection step of collecting an acceleration vertical signal by using an acceleration sensor worn on a part of a user's body; a high frequency signal extraction step of extracting a high frequency signal of an already set frequency or higher from the acceleration vertical signal by using a high pass filter (HPF); a peak value detection step of detecting a peak value between a first time point and a second time point from the extracted high frequency signal; an average value calculation step of calculating an average value of the extracted peak value; and a prediction value calculation step of calculating a prediction value of an IVLR (Instantaneous Vertical Loading Rate) by multiplying the average value by a prediction coefficient (k1).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
