PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide information with a customer attracting force for arousing the customer's interest in financial transactions via a transaction screen.SOLUTION: A financial transaction support device 100 comprises: image information storage means 120 for storing financial transaction situations and image specification information for specifying a character image to be displayed at an operation terminal and the character image in association; event storage means 130 for storing an event which occurs in financial transactions and character update information as an update rule of the image specification information in association; detection means 140 for detecting that the event has occurred in the financial transactions; update information extraction means 150 for extracting character update information corresponding to the detected event; character specification information update means 160 for updating the image specification information on the basis of the extracted character update information; and user terminal display means 170 for causing a user operation terminal 220 to display a character image corresponding to the image specification information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
