The invention provides a motor unit for driving a pointer, a control method therefor and an electronic apparatus. The drive for a pointer of a clock by a stepping motor can be easily controlled. The motor unit for driving a pointer comprises a supporting body; a stepping motor which rotates a pointer supported by the supporting body in a manner of rotating relative to the supporting body; a plurality of input parts including first input parts and a second input parts, wherein the first input parts input first command signals from a main control part and the second input parts input second command signals from the main control part; the control part arranged on the supporting body and configured to output first drive signals of driving the pointer with first motion to the stepping motor according to results of comparison of the first command signals and set threshold values and output second drive signals of driving the pointer with second motion to the stepping motor according to results of comparison of the second command signals and set threshold values.
