To provide an attachment method capable of easily attaching a rib used for applying fire resistance cover material on an iron frame without welding the rib at a construction site.SOLUTION: An attachment method comprises a step of attaching a rib 4 on a rib clip 3 by mounting the rib clip 3 on a supporting fitting 2 in a construction site, and the supporting fitting 2 has been previously fixed on the iron frame 1 by welding in a factory. That is, the method comprises a step of attaching the rib clip 3 on the supporting fitting 2 by inserting an insertion piece 33 formed on the rib clip 3 into a gap 23 formed in at least a part between the supporting fitting 2 and the iron frame 1.
