PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filtering technique that allows a sufficient blocking of lights with such wavelengths that generate ozone while reducing loss of lights with a used wavelength, can response to oblique incidence, and can be practically used for taking measures against ozone.SOLUTION: A filter layer 2 formed on a transparent base plate 1 has a structure in which zirconium oxide or tantalum oxide as an absorbent material 22 is dispersed in an ultraviolet rays transmitting material 21, and the thickness of the layer is 100 μm or less. When the volume mixing ratio of the absorbent material 22 to the entire layer is x and the thickness of the layer is y, the relation of 24.319x≤y≤3040.1xis established in the case of zirconium oxide and the relation of 6.2213x≤y≤24.187xis established in the case of tantalum oxide. The volume mixing ratio of the absorbent material 22 to the whole is 0.9 or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
