PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage battery maintenance device capable of reliably sensing whether or not lithium dendrite is precipitated without using a highly accurate detection device.SOLUTION: A storage battery maintenance device 1 comprises a data server 10 which includes: a storage part 11 which stores a voltage value of each cell 42A when charging a battery module 42 (cell 42A) with a constant current; a characteristic change acquisition part 12 which acquires a voltage change amount in each charge cycle based on the stored voltage value; a dropping characteristic setting part 13 which sets a dropping characteristic of the voltage change amount based on a change of the voltage change amount for the charge cycle when the charge cycle is repeated a predetermined number of times; and a determination part 14 which makes determination on whether lithium dendrite is produced or not based on a value of deviation of a rate of change of the voltage change amount for the charge cycle from the dropping characteristic.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
