PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air permeability measurement method using a simple air permeability test device or the like which can easily measure substance movement resistance of a surface layer portion of a porous material, and can solve the problem that a conventional apparatus for evaluating a surface layer portion of a reinforced concrete structure which has a complicated structure, has a heavy article such as a power source, and has a large burden to a worker that carries the apparatus in a construction site.SOLUTION: An air permeability measurement method of a porous material includes: a fixing step of sealing and fixing a vacuum formation mechanism including a cylindrical body and a plunger to a porous material; a vacuum formation step of bringing the inside of the cylindrical body into vacuum by operating the plunger; and a vacuum eliminating step of permitting operation of the plunger in a direction of eliminating the vacuum state. This method enables an inflow amount of air from the porous material to be specified by the operation amount of the plunger, and enables data that has substance movement resistance and high reliability to be obtained while having a simple structure.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
