PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crack detecting sensor and a crack monitoring method that enable detection of cracks with a simple configuration.SOLUTION: A crack detecting sensor 1 for detecting any crack cr in a hardened cement-concrete composition C is equipped with a surface protecting layer 7, at least one holding layer 6 in which a glass ball 5 is encapsulated, and a detection sheet S including a focus forming layer 4 and a specular reflection layer 3. The reverse side of the detection sheet S to the surface protecting layer 7 is pasted onto the surface of the hardened cement-concrete composition C.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
