To realize non-invasive diagnosis of skin condition without directly examining skin, based on the amount of specific environmental bacteria that correlate with the specific skin condition.SOLUTION: Provided is a method for diagnosing a specific skin condition. The method comprises: a bacterial species identification step of identifying a bacterial species present in indigenous skin flora; a measuring step of measuring the amount of a specific environment-derived bacterium that is correlated with the specific skin condition in the indigenous skin flora based on the identified bacterial species and environmentally-derived bacterial information; and a determination step of determining that the skin condition is more preferable when more large amount of specific environment-derived bacterium are present based on the measurement result. The environmentally-derived bacterial information is information in which information relating to the bacterial species or the genus and information relating to the environment in which the bacterial species or the genus is detected are associated.SELECTED DRAWING: None
