PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device, a system, and a method for vapor characteristic monitoring for a geothermal power generation which allow accurate monitoring of properties of vapor regardless of the properties of vapor, and a geothermal power generation system control method.SOLUTION: A vapor characteristic monitoring device 2 for geothermal power generation includes: a drug addition part 34 capable of adding a pH adjusting agent or an oxidizing agent as an agent to a vapor drain water generated by cooling collected vapor; a mixer 36 capable of generating a mixed water by mixing the agent and the vapor drain water; a reaction acceleration device 38 for accelerating a reaction in the mixed water and capable of degassing hydrogen sulfide gas produced by the reaction from the mixed water; an analysis device 40 capable of analyzing property of the degasified mixed water; at least one sensor capable of measuring pH of the degasified mixed water or reducing sulphur content; and a control device 44 configured to change at least one of the addition amount of the agent by the agent addition part, the kind of the agent, and a driving condition of the reaction acceleration device based on a measurement result of at least one sensor.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
