In the series data analysis device (10), the calculation unit (21) refers to the input series data (32) that is time series data obtained by observing a certain event, and the standard time series data for that event. The series data (31) is compared to extract the combination of the data elements of the input series data (32) and the data elements of the reference series data (31) that correspond to each other. The calculation unit (21) calculates, for each extracted combination, a relative progress speed which is a relative speed of progress of the event in the input series data (32) with respect to the progress of the event in the reference series data (31). The determination unit (22) determines whether or not the progress of the event in the input series data (32) is abnormal, based on the relative progress speed calculated by the calculation unit (21).
