PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily measure an elastic modulus of a transmission belt during a travel.SOLUTION: A transmission belt elastic modulus measuring device 1 comprises: a drive shaft 11 on which a drive pulley 12 is mounted and which is supported on a drive base 14 and a pedestal 15 so as not to be moved; a driven shaft 21 on which a driven pulley 22 is mounted and which is disposed in parallel with the drive shaft 11 and supported by a driven bearing 23, a driven base 24 and a linear guide rail 25 so as to be moved in a direction of a reference line; and a transmission belt 2 which is wound between the pulleys 12 and 22. The drive pulley 12 is formed while separating a shaft center c2 from a center c1 just by eccentricity g. A load application mechanism 40 fixes the drive shaft 11 and the driven shaft 21 at a position where a predetermined shaft load is applied to the driven shaft 21. An arithmetic control part 51 drives the drive shaft 11 and calculates an elastic modulus of the transmission belt 2 during a travel by multiplying a fluctuation amount of a belt tension calculated from a fluctuation amount of a shaft load, acting on the driven shaft 21, detected by a load cell 30 with a rate of change of a belt length that is calculated from the eccentricity g.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
