To directly measure the bearing capacity of a bearing ground in a state where an auger is inserted into the ground during construction of a foundation pile carried out by using the auger having a helical blade around a rod shaft.SOLUTION: A bearing capacity measurement loading plate 15 is housed so as to project in an auger shaft direction at a tip of an auger 1, the bearing capacity measurement loading plate 15 is projected at a stage where the tip of the auger 1 reaches a bearing layer H, and the settlement of the auger 1 is measured by applying the dead weight of the auger 1. Alternatively, a hydraulic jack 19 is provided inside the tip of the auger 1, the bearing capacity measurement loading plate 15 is born at a piston tip, the hydraulic jack 19 is extended to apply a load on the bearing capacity measurement loading plate 15, and a jack pressure and a jack extension amount are measured in a state where the auger 1 is bound so as not to vertically move at the stage where the tip of the auger 1 reaches the bearing layer H.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
