To display by automatically generating an advice icon which arouses a caution needed place in a playing style when displaying performance information or musical score information of music to play on a screen.SOLUTION: A musical instrument performance practice device for displaying a musical score on the basis of performance data of music includes: a musical sound and finger number information storage section 11 which stores musical score information for displaying the musical score; an advice information generating section 15 which detects the presence or absence of special playing from the musical score information and automatically generates advice information for playing when the special playing is present; an advice image generation section 17 which generates an advice icon image for informing the existence of the advice information on the musical score corresponding to sounding time of musical sound information related to the special playing from the advice information; and a display device 21 which displays the advice icon image generated in the advice image generation section.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
