cryptographic system based on pre-image calculation in nonhomogeneous, nonadditive and chaotic dynamic cellular automata. The present invention relates to a symmetric cryptographic system based on the pre-image calculation of cellular automata. At each step of the encryption and decryption process two rules - principal and contour - are used with sensitivity in the same direction, such that the mackerel bits of the boundary rule are determined solely by the first bit of the main rule. plain text is divided into blocks, and these blocks are transformed into bits that correspond to an initial action lattice. The encryption process is achieved by the evolution of the pre-image calculation and the decryption is performed by the temporal evolution of the cellular automata.
