REINFORCEMENT OF ARMOR A method is described for making flexible duct bodies and flexible duct bodies of a type suitable for transporting production fluids. The flexible duct body includes an armature layer comprising interlocking armature ribbon windings comprising at least one armature locating element and a reinforcement layer comprising a reinforcement armature layer comprising at least one reinforcement locating element on the layer of armor. The armature locating element and the reinforcement locating element locate windings of the reinforcement tape with respect to the respective armature tape windings.
