The object of the invention is the tools and method of cold forming a loop with a collar. The cold forming tools of a flanged strip are characterized by the fact that on the body of a matrix divided (1) in the form of a tulip, the upper part of the matrix (2) is located in the form of a ring with a degree (2a) from the inside, in which is a plastic strap made of material with less resistance to plastic flow than the backing material (4),and in the lower part of the split-matrix body (1) is the ejector.
