The intake system of a three-cylinder four-stroke exhaust engine, constructed from the main intake ducts providing ambient air to the cylinders, connecting the selected cylinder to the main intake duct of another cylinder, is characterised by this, that the first (28) connects the first cylinder to the main intake channel of the second cylinder (31),the second (32) connects the second cylinder to the main intake channel of the third cylinder (35),the third (36) connects the third cylinder to the main intake channel of the first cylinder (27). The arrangement consisting of the arrangement shafts (18 and 21) and the mechanisms (53, 55, 57) controlling the operation of the outlet valves (43) and the main outlet valves (25, 29, 33) ensures their continuous jump. The connectors (37, 39, 41) controlling the opening of the connectors (28, 32, 36) shall have:Thanks to the mechanisms (53, 55, 57) the variable lift and the variable opening time, with the crankshaft extractions being switched exactly at 120.
