In one of the solutions, an instrument for cutting holes in leather straps or leather-like straps is characterized by its lower adjustment subassembly being a flat support base (2),having parallel measuring divisions on its upper surface (26),four non-porous holes and a rectangular hole made in the axis of its symmetry, in which the insert is twisted and located in the horizontal axis of symmetry of that insert two identical profile deposits (14) with holes engraved in them, and rectangular selections (18) are made on both sides of the profile deposits (14),where downward displacement lines (20) situated perpendicular to these selections are located,where the rails (20) are fitted with gauges (21) and lateral retractors (22) with airholes made in them (23) under non-attached ends (24) bolts (16),Whereas the upper pressure sub-assembly (6) is a plate (5) made of plastic of the type PMMA, which in the axis of symmetry has a transverse rectangular aperture in which the metal body (29) is twisted with a hollow blade housing, where the components are combined by two pairs of roller guides (3) with springs placed on them (4),where the bottom ends of these guides are embedded in non-porous holes made on a flat support basis (2),and their upper ends are embedded in the transverse openings of the top pressure plate (5).
