The mode of detection of lung cancer, particularly low clinical progression, is characterised by the chromium concentration in the non-smoking patient's blood sample, with the cadmium concentration in the blood above 0,15 mg/L indicating the likelihood of occurrence or detection of cancer above 4, 5-fold compared to population risk, and blood chromium concentration in the range of 0,10 -0,14 mg/L indicates the likelihood of occurrence or detection of cancer increased more than 4-5-fold compared to population risk.
